I admire the people who aren’t afraid to believe in instinct, in experience, and in circumstance because it's not always enough to look to logic and reason for everything. It’s only when we accept our limitations that we can trust ourselves to live with them despite our inability to fully understand them.

Don’t blame a story for being too good to be true when you think it can’t be yours. I’ve always found it more satisfying to admire as opposed to loathe the things I desire but don’t have. That way, at least I’m not the one telling myself that they can’t one day be mine.

What if redoing your past could undo someone else’s future? Would you still do it?
Every moment, we have one chance to choose and one choice to make. If we’re wrong, then we’re wrong. And if we regret it, then we must fight for the next chance to make it right. But there are no do-overs, because the stories of our lives are told as they’re written, and that means that we don’t have the means or the chance to change them.

It came upon nothing, for it never came. It was just there, always there, and I saw it for everything that it could’ve been except for what it really was.

Reality lacks that element which makes it real, and truth lacks that element which makes it true because if we choose not to see them, then they’re not there. No matter how real or how true, everything disappears. It’s not a matter of tangibility or credibility. It’s a matter of deniability.

If you didn’t get your happy ending, then you must’ve stopped fighting for it because if it’s not happy, then it’s not the end. It doesn’t matter how true or how false or how flawed a statement like this may be. Our strength is our shield, and no one can tell us not to carry it with us. Danger doesn’t have to be and often can’t be stopped when it’s coming, but we can survive it if our shield is strong enough.
People who treat a cold like it’s just a cold are most susceptible to the undetectable virus that it may bring with it.

I have secrets that I don’t even know about because I’m not ready to find out, and I have dreams that I haven’t yet dreamt of because I’m not ready to be conscious of them. I know because life doesn’t happen all at once and that it’s for a reason. It doesn’t matter if I don’t know the reason; I choose to believe in it anyways.
There is no point in living life if we don’t have faith. Faith is all we have: faith in what we don’t see, faith in what will and won’t happen, faith that the people who have the power to destroy us will have the heart not to… 'cause we're not always in control of how we feel or what we live. We’re neither the ocean nor the wave…
There are times when I write even though I don’t think I have something to say because there’s the chance that I do and just don’t know it. It’s not about needing to hear myself think. It’s about listening and interpreting my silence for all that could've been left unsaid. Since we're the only ones who can always be there to listen to ourselves, we have to make an effort to do so even when we're not asked to try.
